Study Abroad

Norwich is currently embarking on an emphasis to internationalize the campus, and development of a strongly supported Study Abroad program is one aspect of that effort .

Geology and Environmental Science majors have always been leaders in this area since our work is never restricted by political boundaries. Last year, Meegan Kelley (ES’05) received a Student Research Fellowship to work in Greece with Prof. Rick Dunn and a large team of colleagues studying Roman tombs.

Funding to support this type of research by students comes from a variety of sources, most notably very generous gifts to Norwich University known as the Chase Endowment for Academic Excellence and the Dr. A. Francis Politi International Fund.
