Athletic Training Education Program

The Norwich University Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) is housed in the Department of Sports Medicine within the Division of Math and Science. The Bachelor of Science-Athletic Training is designed to prepare students for entry-level careers in Athletic Training. C.A.A.T.E. Accredited 2005 - 2010
During their third semester, students wishing to pursue athletic training must submit a program application. Upon receipt of all application materials by the Athletic Training Education Program Director, the student will be eligible for selection into the Athletic Training Education Program based on the ATEP selection criteria. Students will be notified of their eligibility to enroll in the Athletic Training Education Program.
Students accepted into the ATEP may participate in intercollegiate athletics. Its is understood that their participation in secondary to the educational requirements of the program; this includes clinical and field experiences. The Norwich University ATEP is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education.
