Research

I'm interested in how to better use mathematical software and online environments to improve the teaching of mathematics. At Dartmouth I worked on a grant to develop a calculus Web site using the WebWorK program to generate and grade homework problems. Before that, I wrote some articles about math and science for the Studyworks online Web site, and before that, I worked for software companies that developed Internet browser technology and mathematical software.

MAA

I am advisor, with Rob Poodiack, of the Norwich student chapter of the Mathematical Association of America.
