Dan McQuillan has initiated new research in the area of vertex-magic and edge-magic total labeling of graphs, writing papers that have appeared or been accepted in several journals since 2004. He has also presented material at numerous conferences, including an invited talk at DIMACS connect institute for graph theory and its applications.
