Creating links to course materials in CLiC

Basic steps: It's easy as 1, 2, 3

1.

Create simple Web pages.

2.

Copy Web pages to your folder on Webber2, the faculty web server, (this is the Y drive on your computer). See: Transferring Web Pages to the Faculty Web Server

3.

Create links to your Web pages under the Course Links section on CLiC course homepages.

Click the Add/Edit button on the CLiC course homepage, enter a description and the URL (web address) for the link including http://. You can create up to 6 links on each CLiC course homepage.

Note: to create a link to information posted on webber 2 you will always enter the web address (URL) to the link in this format:

We'll help you post an online syllabus quickly!

One of the CLiC goals is to provide an online syllabus for every course. To expedite this process for faculty who do not currently have course Web pages, we are available to convert your existing syllabi into a format that can be accessed quickly from a Web page.

Simply send a copy to CLiC@norwich.edu by attaching your syllabus saved in Microsoft Word or Corel WordPerfect format. Your syllabus will be converted to a PDF file and posted to a simple Web page.
Contact Gail Poitras, gail@norwich.edu, or x2010, with questions.
